This project is a client-server model which involves an application developed in Java. The Remote Classroom would be implemented as follows: • The teacher sits at the server end while the students sit at the client end. The application designed is running on the server and every client. • A database will be maintained to keep the details about the students like their ID’s, attendance records etc and also session details will be seen to. As the students log in, the student’s attendance is updated automatically. • It involves interaction between students and teacher with the help of various controls provided by the application. The tasks performed by the teacher can be simultaneously viewed by the students. • Some features present in the application are: 1) A writing area 2) Image viewer 3) The students can ask questions when in doubt. • This application also provides voice facility, which acts as the basis of communication between the teacher and the students. • The application will be customized by providing controls at the server and client ends as per the requirements.
