The energy meter reading should be transmitted to the power transmission board. So that the work of a person who has to move from house to house to take the reading of the energy meter is eliminated. the data transmission should cover a area of 3 kms. The reading of the energy meter should be stored in the system with the source energy meter number to identify the house and billing is done for the data obtained.
