for eg:consider a train.we fit a group of fans on it.while it is running it will start to rotate.by connecting a shraft of a motor and a generator to it we can produce current from it.see its just only an idea.i think that it is not efficient in practical case.by connecting a shraft to the wheel is the more efficient method.what about you?
